Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us when you join the Food Bids waitlist at getfoodbids.com. Food Bids by Steady Bids is a planned service of Steady Bids LLC, which operates steadybids.com.
What we collect
- What you enter in the waitlist form: company name, your name, work email, state, what you sell, which buyers you bid (or want to bid), whether you'd consider a paid founding-member pilot, and your agreement to be emailed.
- The date and time you joined.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. This page and the landing page use no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
- To email you about Food Bids: launch news and an invitation to the founding-member pilot.
- To decide what to build first, for example which product categories, buyers and regions matter most to waitlist members.
We only email you if you tick the consent box. Every email lets you opt out.
Where it's stored
Waitlist entries are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers KV), the provider that hosts this site. Only Steady Bids can access them. We may copy entries to our own secured systems to manage the waitlist.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We don't share it with other companies for their marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (such as Cloudflare), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until you ask us to delete them, or until we close the waitlist and no longer need them.
Your choices: access, correction, deletion
To see, correct or delete your waitlist information, email hello@steadybids.com from the address you signed up with. For example, use the subject "Delete my Food Bids waitlist data". We'll confirm once it's done. To stop emails only, reply "unsubscribe" to any message from us.
Children
Food Bids is for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you.
